Painted entirely with a stylus brush, this image is a variant on the traditional ‘bowl of vegetables’ still life theme. It is also part of the series on inner balance, that is, balance of the mind against impossible odds, something common to us all. There is another layer - defying old age. The vegetables started out young and fresh, then I decided they should reflect what it is to be old with a young mind, defying the block.
